Registration Instructions

St. Clair Shores Green Hornets Football & Cheerleading
2025 Registration Packet
Welcome to the Green Hornets Family! The following documents are required for registration:
● Participant Registration Form
● Participant Code of Conduct
● MHSAA Sports Physical (physical must be completed after April 15th, 2025)
● Parent/Guardian Agreement
● 2 Copies of the Child’s Birth Certificate
● CDC Parent/Athlete Concussion Form
● Medical Liability Waiver
● Payment Agreement
All paperwork MUST be turned in at the same time, no partial paperwork will be accepted. We will have
paperwork turn in dates (announced/communicated on our website, Facebook page, and BAND App) or you may
email the documents to [email protected]. ALL paperwork must be turned in prior to the first
day of practice with no exceptions.
Fees: All fees must be paid in full, or payment schedule filled out, prior to the first day of practice.
● $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due at the time of registration (included in the fees listed below)
● Football:
○ Flag: $500
○ Freshman and Junior Varsity: $550
○ Varsity: $400
■ Each child’s price includes $100 non-refundable deposit, $150 Volunteer Fee (this is
returned at end of the season once four volunteer times have been completed), $100 for
Raffle Tickets (you can sell these or keep these), and their registration fees.
○ Fees will include a personalized jersey that athletes can keep after the season.
● Cheer:
○ Flag, Freshman, and Junior Varsity: $400
■ Each child’s price includes $100 non-refundable deposit, $150 Volunteer Fee (this is
returned at end of the season once four volunteer times have been completed), $100 for
Raffle Tickets (you can sell these or keep these), and their registration fees.
○ Varsity: $250
■ Each child’s price includes $100 non-refundable deposit and $150 Volunteer Fee (this is
returned at end of the season once four volunteer times have been completed). If you
would like raffle tickets, you can purchase a book of them for $100 at any point
throughout the season prior to the banquet drawing.
NOTE: Raffle tickets are for the end of the season banquet. Each ticket you sell is $5.00, we will provide you
with 20 tickets (per participant). Once you sell the raffle tickets you turn in your stubs and keep the $100. Failure
to sell all tickets does not entitle a refund. In the case you do not sell all tickets, you can put your name on the
stubs and turn them in.
 
ALL FEES must be paid in full prior to the first game of the season. We accept Cash, Checks and Credit Cards.
However, there is a $50 fee for any returned checks.
Practice:
● We practice everyday rain or shine. The organization will let you know as soon as possible if there is a
cancellation. If weather is unsafe during practice all children will need to be picked up immediately by
their parent/guardian. Coaches are not responsible, or able, to drive your child/ren home.
● Prior to our first game practice will be Monday – Friday 6pm – 8pm. After our first game we will
practice Tuesday – Friday 6pm – dark.
 
Additional information to help this season run smoothly:
 Each family is asked to volunteer four times throughout the season
 Each squad will have a Band App group – beginning with the first day of practice, it is the responsibility
of each family member to ensure they are on the correct Band so they are receiving all of the information
from coaches and the organization
 There will be a MANDATORY parent/guardian meeting in June or July – exact date and time will be
announced on Facebook, Band, and our website
 Practices begin on 08/04/2025 and we will have a game on Labor Day weekend
 Games may be on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the hosting team
 Eligibility rules will be in effect this season and athletes will be expected at practice daily
 The Green Hornets have joined a new league and we are on probation for two years – any and all Code of
Conduct discretions can affect our future in this league and result in large fines, therefore, we will not
allow threatening behavior, marijuana smoking on school premises, alcohol use on school premises, or
any other behaviors that portray our organization in a negative light. Please contact a Board Member if
you have questions or concerns.
Full list of important dates; game schedule, picture day etc will be provided once we get closer to the season and
those dates have been finalized. This information will also be posted on our website and shared via our Facebook
page.
